Ultimate Destination Wedding

Who hasn't dreamed of a beachside wedding? White sand beaches, sparkling clear blue waters, heartwarming sunset.

Planning a destination wedding can be easy once you have the right information....finding the right destination, planner, photographer, hotel, music, marriage license requirements, etc.

Over the next couple of months, I will spotlight a few destinations that people have either asked about or expressed some interest in. If anyone has one that they would like me to do a blog on I will be more than happy to do it.

In the spotlight this week Saint Lucia

Pigeon Island

Saint Lucia pronounced in French as Sainte-Lucie was named after Saint Lucy of Syracuse. This 239 sq mile island is located in the eastern Caribbean Sea. The main language is English but 80% of the island speaks Creole.

St. Lucia is the perfect destination for a Caribbean wedding. Its natural beauty, palmed fringed beaches and stylish old plantation houses makes it an exquisite choice for a couples dream wedding. Listening to mesmerizing steel band music under the swaying coconut trees feeling that gentle tropical air.

St. Lucia has no residency requirements, so a couple can get married within hours of arriving on the island. All you need is a passport and birth certificate and of course divorce decree or death certificate if it applies to your situation. Kerri and Scott's Wedding at Sandals Regency

There are many beautiful resorts to choose from. Bay Gardens Beach Resort, Sandals Resorts, The Landings St. Lucia, Anse Chastanet to name a few of St. Lucia's world class hotels. All staffed with employees ready to serve and please and make your stay a vacation worth remembering for eternity.

  1. These are definitely in trend. Taking the guests out of their hectic schedules and making them well versed with new cultures is unique too. Heard a lot about Los Angeles event venues and I think they also offer full day party services. Will ask them about the booking for a day or so with breakfast, luncheon, dinner and other party supplies.
